RESTORATIVE JUSTICE TRAINING THAT WORKS.

We were first introduced to the practice and theory of restorative justice while working as teachers and administrators in our own schools. We saw firsthand how this helped students and teachers alike build trust and connection. The experience motivated us to make this the standard for behavior, discipline, and communication in every school we work in.

Since 2010, we’ve earned the privilege to move beyond our own hallways and train on and implement restorative practices in dozens of schools throughout the United States. If your school recognizes the opportunity restorative justice presents, we’re ready to hear from you.

In business, restorative practices increase team productivity and can support human resources in resolving conflict between employees. Additionally, restorative practices are effective in dissolving power differentials. Restorative practices are an essential element of diversity, equity, and inclusion training.

Hi Jen,

I hope you are doing well! We are off to a great start at Heritage with our learning from last year.

Additionally, we added peace paths to our playgrounds (and inside) and they are working well.

We would like to learn about training students to be “Peacemakers” on the playground. These students would help facilitate others using the peace paths when needed and when appropriate-student playground leaders, basically.

Would you be willing to come to our school during a staff meeting and do some training on this topic? I'm writing a grant again this year and...I can request your fee in the grant.
